Ingredients : |
|
| 1 cup half-boiled Mash Daal
½ kg White flour (maida)
¼ cup oil for kneading
Salt as per taste
1 tbsp red chili powder
1 tbsp garam masala
2 tbsp coriander seeds
Oil for frying |
|
| |
|
| How to Prepare : |
|
| Knead the maida with oil. Divide into small balls, about the size of meatballs, and roll on a board into round shapes, like a chapatti. Keep aside.
On the other hand, mix mash daal, salt, red chili powder, garam masala and coriander seeds, in a large bowl. Take a spoonful of this mixture and put into the previously rolled chapattis. Close the chapattis covering the mixture. Press firmly with hands.
Take a medium frying pan and heat oil. Keeping the heat on medium, fry the prepared kachoris until golden brown on both sides.
Serve instantly with tamarind chutney.
Note: You can choose the filling of your own choice; you can use minced meat, mixed vegetables or potato mixture also. |
