 Ingredients :
  • 1/2 kilo mutton
  • 3 medium sized chopped onions
  • 4-5 tbsp yoghurt or 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tsp garlic-ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp salt or as desired
  • 2 black cardamoms
  • 4 green cardamoms
  • 5 cloves
  • 5 black peppercorns
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 2 bay leaves, crushed
  • 2 tbsp almonds
  • 2 fried green chillies
  • bunch of chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 cup oil
  •
     How to Prepare :
Fry onions in oil until until light brown. Once fried, take out onions and grind. Put grounded onions, garlic-ginger paste and all the spices and fry in the oil. Add meat and let it cook on low heat for an hour or until the meat is tender. When the meat becomes tender, add curd or tomatoes and fry. Then add the desired quantity of water and boil for 2-3 minutes. Add almonds and let it cook for further 2-3 minutes.

Meat Korma is ready. Garnish with coriander and fried green chillies. Serve with naan and chapatis.

Note: Almonds can be fried in oil to make them crispy and this will give Korma a better taste.
